To describe the Integrated training, we first have to examine the sequence from the moment the player perceives the flight of the ball sent by the opponent, to the end of the point, that is;
- Reaction to ball flight reconnaissance
- Decision on the selection of the shot to be executed.
- Scrolling and adjusting to the ball.
During the point, this sequence happens repeatedly and once it ends, they appear;
- “Positive or negative” emotions
With this reasoning, our formative proposal is aimed at integrating the four pillars that configure the game of Tennis: hitting fluidly and efficiently, making good strategic decisions and becoming an athlete who controls emotions and improves daily in each and every one of his skills.
The coaches do not have an unlimited time while training, and we need to squeeze it, to be able to work them in the best way all those aspects, with the greatest possible applicability.
Integrated Training could be defined as the comprehensive mental-physical-technical-tactical preparation consisting of promoting the development of qualities in the context in which they intervene in competition. In order the goal is achieved, coaches and players shall work in an integrated way mental abilities, concepts of tennis and physical preparation of the player.
The idea is that the information is transmitted to the player, based on a Mental Concept and from there the training session is developed, working in an integrated way on aspects related to the sport of tennis itself.

Example of how to work on emotional control:
“2-player matches are held against 2 players (goal of temporarily eliminating players who lose their emotional control”
Method: Competition.
Contents: The rules of the game are created so that players are able to control their emotions and otherwise there are consequences.
Exercise: Two-player games are played against two players, with the goal that the players at the end of each point know how to manage their emotional control (winning or losing the point). The player who at the end of a point makes any gesture, movement, derogatory word or self-encouragement, during that “game” will be eliminated and will not participate again until the next “game”.
