Course goals:
Educatennis has compiled the knowledge of Spanish Tennis and puts it at your fingertips with this work tool.
The main objective of the Summer Camp Under 6 program is to introduce players into the game in a fun way to develop passion for sport.
We focus on an adapted tennis teaching, working on the player’s general tennis-oriented motor skills development while gaining racket skills and control of the ball at the same time becoming familiar with the dimensions of the court.
The content to be worked at this will be divided into two types:
- General coordinative (motor skills) oriented to specific demands of tennis.
- Specific tennis skills -Technical-coordination.
Players will become “tennis coordinated” and be able to rally.

Week 1 SC U6 (red)
Main objective is to develop general coordination skills oriented to tennis and to build the basic tennis shots. – Reminder of the technique of forehand, backhand and serve overhead- Reminder of court positioning and basic movement around the court. Build the foundamentals to start the rally from the baseline

Week 2 SC U6 (red)
Main objective is to continue developing tennis specific coordination and start having some quality rallies. – Review the technique of forehand, backhand and service overhead – Review court positioning and movement technique from the baseline. This week is a progression with the main goal of dominating the rally.

Week 3 SC U6 (red)
Main objective is to consolidate the rally from the baseline and to start working the net game. – Reminder and deepening of the technique of forehand and backhand volley

- Under 6 – Summer Camp “3rd Week” Wednesday

Week 4 SC U6 (red)
Review all the concepts worked the 3 weeks before during competition. Main objective is to introduce the players to the tennis competition with a good attitude. – Learn the rules of the game – Start working on the control of emotions and tolerance of frustration – Give more importance to teamwork and respect for the coach than to winning.
